I mean… if you are desperate enough any pizza is good pizza! This is a recipe for a low calorie and low carb pizza.
Start with these tortillas, they are 50 calories and 4 net carbs
Dip a basting brush in olive oil and cover the tortilla. Sprinkle the tortilla with garlic and onion powder. Then take 1/4 of a cup of spaghetti sauce and cover the tortilla, 30 calories and 4 net carbs.
Sprinkle 1/6 a cup of mozzarella over the sauce, that is 40 calories and 1 carb. Space out 6 pepperoni, one in the middle and 5 around, 60 calories and no carbs
So in total for one pizza you are looking at 180 calories and 9 net carbs! That is pretty fantastic, we usually eat one pizza and a salad to get our greens.
Somehow we failed to get a cooked picture…. but it tastes amazing!
SO I have been working on myself, well my body since…. forever… but in all seriousness since the middle of January and I am finally really seeing some differences!!
I have lost almost lost 2 inches off my belly and several inches everywhere else, but my ultimate goal is to get rid of my belly.
So what have I been doing to get such an amazing difference??
I have been eating about 1400 calories max and I workout at least 5 times a week, I also try to make sure that I am taking as many steps during the day as possible.
My favorite exercises are
Push-ups, I try to do 50 every night
Planks, I started only being able to hold for 15 seconds and now I am up to 40 seconds each time!
Flutter kicks and Leg raises
Bent over rows
Lifting dumbells sorry about the baby interruptions, he always “helps” me work out, lol
So that is what I have been up to and it has been quite effective. My clothes are getting loose and I have more energy. I am more confident and my marriage is definitely improving! I will be adding cardio as I actually lose weight (I’ve only lost about 7lbs) because my knees and my hips are in pretty intense pain these days.
Hello all!! My husband and I are back on the weightloss wagon. He is down 10lbs and I am down almost 5, I have lost an entire 1.5 inch off my waist!
We are mainly focusing on our diet, “abs are made in the kitchen” and I am doing some strength training at least 5 days a week.
We are doing a low carb, not a no carb diet. We have had A LOT of salmon and broccoli these last 4 weeks! So I have been looking for something new to try and I found…. SHRIMP TACOS!!!
In total this meal is less than 350 calories
So I started with a large bag of raw shrimp
I made homemade taco seasoning with salt, pepper, chili powder, paprika, cumin, onion powder and garlic powder. For a kick we added this habanero lime seasoning
I diced up half a head of green and purple cabbage and I covered them in fresh lime juice. It was a salsa of sorts. For the sauce my husband mixed up mayo and sriracha. We only had miracle whip, I would not recommend it… it tasted weird and watery; but spicy!
Now just piece them together! Some salsa, 4 shrimp and sauce on each tortilla. It is a delicious, easy and filling meal.
I hope you like the recipe! Do you have any that you love???
How was your Monday?? I spilled coffee on a book I’m reading about cleaning my house….
I am down 6lbs since Sept 24. I know that doesn’t sound like a lot, but for me it’s great! To gain weight all I have to do is breathe… to lose weight I need to make sacrifices to the Gods.
I did the free two week trial of Noom. Noom is a weightloss plan, there is an app. It is very involved, but basically it’s counting calories. They do have daily lessons that help you get into the psychology of losing weight and it is pretty useful info. If that is something that you think you need check out their website.
But I didn’t continue with them after the trial, I did lose 2lbs a week like they said, but I can count calories without a lesson.
So I am getting through my day on 1400 calories, which should be about 1.5lbs lost a week. It took getting used to, having that amount of calories in one day. I got fat because I ate ALL the calories, lol. There were days when I was dizzy and not feeling great but it has evened out, I can go to sleep without eating all of those calories and feel fine.
I am not working out right now, I am concentrating on my food intake right now. I know there are those who do both, but I know me best! I am wearing my FitBit and getting in as many steps as possible each day. I have even started watching tv while pacing.
All together I feel great and I am hoping that I can keep it up. In a couple of months I’ll start walking again and slowly build up the exercise routine.
How was your day? Do you have anything exciting planned for this week??
